Like Patriotic Americans Everywhere,  I'm "Fighting Mad" about the Cowardly Terrorist Attacks of  9-11-2001 on our Great Nation! None of my Marine Corps Training and Experience could have prepared me for what took place on that fateful day!   The mere thought that New York City became the "First Battleground of the First War of the 21st Century" still freaks me out beyond belief, but to contemplate the loss of over 3,000 of Our Fellow Americans is almost too much!

           It is my sincere hope that all who visit my site will be reminded of why America is at War.   

 We Must Never Forget Who Started this War or How We Felt as We Witnessed the

Horrors of 9-11-2001.

  As Attacked Americans we will be the ones who will end this War On Terror, but it will be done on

 "Our Terms" and We Will Succeed! 

As we did after 9-11-2001, we must all be united make a firm commitment to Stand Behind Our Troops as we rid the world of terrorism once and for all!  There is no more important work in the world than that of ensuring that the enemies of America are totally defeated and that the soil of the United States of America is once again safe for all Americans, but most especially for our Children and our Future Posterity!

I am a small and precious child, my Dads been sent to fight...
The only place I'll see his face, is in my dreams late at night.
He will be gone far too many days For my young mind to keep track.

I do my job while knowing, the thanks it sometimes lacks.
Please Say a prayer that I'll come home soon.

Semper Fidelis!

The Official Motto of the U.S. Marine Corps is Semper Fidelis, Latin
for "Always Faithful".  Until 1871 it was "First to Fight",
a motto that still very much applies!  Through the years, Marines have greeted  Fellow Marines with "Semper Fi",  "Semper Fi, Mac" or  "Semper Fi Marine" !

SECRETARY of State Colin Powell put an Iraqi reporter in
his place the other day. The scribe tried to sandbag the statesman by
asking, "Isn't it true that only 13 percent of young Americans can locate Iraq
on a map?"  "That may be true," Powell snapped. "You're probably right.
But, unfortunately for you, all 13 percent are Marines."

CNN live interview with Martin Savidge on Sunday, 30 March 2003:

Martin Savidge of CNN, embedded with the 1st Marine battalion, 1st Marine
Division, was talking with 4 young Marines near his foxhole this morning
live on CNN. He had been telling the story of how well the Marines had
been looking out for and taking care of him since the war started. He went on
to tell about the many hardships the Marines had endured since the war began
and how they all look after one another.

He turned to the four and said he had cleared it with their commanders
and they could use his video phone to call home.  None of these Marines had
been able to talk with their families for many weeks.  The 19 year old Marine
next to him asked Martin if he would allow his platoon sergeant to use
his call to call his pregnant wife back home whom he had not been able to
talk to in over a month.  A stunned Savidge, who was visibly moved by the
request, nodded his head - yes.  The young Marine ran off to get the
sergeant. Savidge recovered after a few seconds and turned back to the
three young Marines still sitting with him. He asked which one of them would
like to call home first?  The Marine closest to him responded with out a
moments hesitation, "Sir, if is all the same to you we would like to call the
parents of a buddy of ours.  Lance Cpl Brian Buesing of Cedar Key,
Florida, who was killed on the 23rd of March near Nasiriya.  We would like to see
how his folks are doing and let them know their son died bravely."

At that Martin Savidge totally broke down and was unable to speak.  All
he could get out before signing off was,

 "Where do they get young men like  this?"
